US Braintree Mayor visits Parliament

James Cleverly welcomes Joe Sullivan, Mayor of Braintree, Massachusetts to Parliament on Reserve Armed Forces Day.

James, has been an officer in the Territorial Army for 20 years and holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

He is part of the Central Volunteers HQ Royal Artillery and works as a Staff Officer in the 1st (UK) Armoured Division.

He said: “It was a real pleasure to welcome the Mayor of Braintree, Mass. to the Houses of Parliament. It is great that we have strong friendship links between the two Braintrees and I know he appreciated his visit to the American Army War Memorial at White Court in Great Notley.”
