WW1 Commemorative Stone

James Cleverly joins residents of Rayne and the Royal British Legion at the unveiling of a commemorative stone to mark the point in Rayne Hall Green where men from the village signed up to go to war.

He said:
“It was lovely to join the residents of Rayne and the students of Rayne Primary & Nursery School and the local Royal British Legion branch at this commemorative event.”

Residents were joined by a delegation from Rayne’s twinned village of Verberie in France, including their Mayor.
