Britain votes to leave the EU
Yesterday the British people voted to leave the EU. With over 17 million votes, the decision to leave the UE had more electoral support than anything else in British political history.
There will now be a significant period of disruption, including the decision of the Prime Minister to stand down. I have no doubt that the British economy and the British people will be significantly better off for this decision but there are millions of people who need to be convinced of this.
Over the next few months we will choose a new Prime Minister who will need to show that Brexit can and will be good for the UK.
