James Cleverly attended a meeting of the Halstead Rotary Club at the Halstead Men’s Shed today.

Keith Brownlie, President of Halstead Rotary Club, and Halstead’s Mayor, Andy Munday, shared the fantastic work, outreach, and fundraising efforts being done to make Halstead a Dementia Friendly Community.

Raising awareness and understanding of dementia is key to ensuring that those living with it can continue to lead fulfilling lives on their own terms.

After the meeting, James had the chance to explore the new workshop at the Men’s Shed and admire the impressive work being created there. A great example of community spirit in action!
