James Cleverly visited Colne Engaine Primary School to meet pupils representing Colne Engaine Primary, St Giles Primary, St Andrews Primary and Wethersfield Primary to hear about their work on the Send My Friend to School initiative which helps children hit by crises and emergencies around the world get back into education.
James said:
“I thoroughly enjoyed the professional presentation by the children and the discussion and Q&A that followed. It was great to see how they are working with Send My Friend to School and their postcard campaign. The children presented me with 222 postcards from 5 schools and I promised them that I would speak about their presentation in government meetings about this fantastic initiative.”
