James Cleverly visits the Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust to discuss mental health and meet David Powell, the health trust’s Armed Forces Champion and East of England Regional Lead for Op COURAGE.

James said:

“It was good to be back in the constituency on Friday after a busy week in Parliament.

“I had an informative meeting with Paul Scott, Chief Exec of our local Health Trust. Together with the trust leadership staff we discussed provision of mental health care and support across the constituency, including community led care and in patient services. We also spoke about the terms of reference and a possible start date to The Lampard inquiry.

“I also had the chance to meet David Powell, the health trust’s Armed Forces Champion and East of England Regional Lead for Op COURAGE, to learn about the mental health support services.”
