Natural flood management in Finchingfield
On Friday James Cleverly visited the Spains Hall Estate to look at some very old fashioned innovation. Beavers.
James comments:
“Archie Ruggles-Brise introduced a pair of beavers to the farm a few years ago and the pair got busy. There is now a colony of beavers (not a lodge as I incorrectly said
) and a network of natural dams that help manage water flow.”
