Local MP, James Cleverly visits Essex Cares Livewell Hub in Braintree.

He said:
“A big thank you to the staff and service users of the Essex Cares livewell hub in Braintree for hosting me and showing me around. I met with Beth, who manages the centre, and her team to talk about the work that they do supporting people with learning disabilities.

“We discussed the importance of the carers’ role in building confidence, teaching life skills, and helping service users move towards independence and independent living.

“It was also lovely to chat to the service users themselves and talk through the activities and projects that they were working on. This included an environmental themed art project.”
