James Cleverly explains why he is supporting the Prime Minister’s proposals agreed by the Cabinet on Friday at Chequers.

He said:
“This morning I attended a briefing in Downing Street about the Brexit proposal agreed by the Cabinet on Friday. 

“There has been a lot of media speculation about the content and implications of the proposal. As someone who campaigned for Brexit I found these worrying, but the details that we went through this morning reassured me that we have a workable plan.”
