Yesterday the British people voted to leave the EU. With over 17 million votes, the decision to leave the UE had more electoral support than anything else in British political history.

Over the last few years many thousands have died trying to escape from war, persecution or poverty.  Those unnamed and faceless victims have suffocated, starved, frozen, drowned or have simply been murdered by the very traffickers they paid to help them.

Last week the government announced proposed changes to UK strike laws.  I have written about this issue in the past and I felt it worth republishing the article again.

Both before and since the General Election I have spoken to a number of people who have concerns about the quality and availability of NHS health provision in Essex. 

When I was selected and throughout the General Election campaign I was asked what my position on Europe was, my answer was always the same.
